About this camp

Camp Invention: Spark (Space Morphers™) is an immersive STEM summer day camp designed for children entering kindergarten through sixth grade. The program focuses on hands-on activities that encourage creative problem-solving, design thinking, and STEM skill development. Campers will engage in four unique modules: Space Morphers™, Make Waves™, Fur-ensics™, and The Infringers™. In Space Morphers™, children build DIY space rockets, launch missions to transform exoplanets, conduct rover races to collect data, and grow crystal trees in a space lab. The Make Waves™ module inspires entrepreneurial spirit as campers create prototypes, pitch innovative products, and design billboard boats. Fur-ensics™ sharpens detective skills through forensic science investigations with robotic capybaras, analyzing clues and evidence. Finally, The Infringers™ challenges campers to use their invention superpowers to solve community problems, miniaturize technology, and protect intellectual property using cryptography. The overall experience aims to build confidence, persistence, and innovative thinking in young creators.
